The children of Cuba - currently under a near-total blockade, are facing life-threatening shortages of food, medicine, and other basic needs. We want to help. If you do too, we're offering an unforgettable evening of Cuban music and fellowship with proceeds to the Cuban Children in Crisis fund to provide emergency direct aid to those most in need.
Adonis Puentes is a Cuban‑Canadian singer and sonero, known for his rich, soulful voice and contemporary take on traditional Cuban son; he has built an international career from his home base here in BC, leading acclaimed ensembles and recording Juno award‑nominated albums. He's joined by his father, acclaimed Cuban guitarist and music teacher Valentín Puentes, who has helped shape a generation of Cuban musicians. Rounding out the group is Latin percussionist Nicolas Márquez, a dynamic rhythm specialist steeped in Afro‑Latin and Caribbean traditions, whose driving grooves and colorful palette of hand percussion bring an energetic pulse to the music.

Admission is by advance reservation only - no tickets at the door. We're family-friendly and offer light meals, snacks and desserts, and a variety of hot and cold non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Doors open at 7pm and music at 7:30pm.
If you're unable to purchase a reservation for the number of guests in your party, please email us at info@empourium.ca and we'll do our best to reorganize our seating plan to accommodate you.
NOTE: If you purchase a Table for 1, you may be required to share your table with one or more patrons.
*IMPORTANT: table reservation fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
