Brentwood Bay Village Empourium is a hybrid cafe, gift shop, art gallery and event venue. We are a local, independently-owned and operated business with no affiliation to any franchise or corporate entity. Our goal is to provide each of our guests with a consistently excellent customer experience. FRONT COUNTER/BARISTA

You're looking for the opportunity to connect with your community, face-to-face and work with a friendly and supportive team. You can commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week with a degree of flexibility in your schedule.
We're looking for someone with a warm and positive attitude who understands the challenges and rewards of the quick serve hospitality industry.
Duties & responsibilities include greeting guests, sales counter (Point of Sale), preparing hot and cold beverages, fulfilling food orders, keeping our retail and dining areas clean and tidy, restocking supplies, washing dishes and a willingness to help out wherever you're needed.
Compensation starts at $17.50 - $19 depending on experience, plus tip-sharing, which averages $5 per hour. Aside from a flexible work schedule, we also offer paid meal breaks on shifts longer than 5 hours, a 75% discount on staff meals during working hours, a 25% discount on all merchandise and food & beverage purchased outside of working hours.
