Two of Vancouver Island's most exciting musicians share the stage for an evening you won't forget. Guitarist and composer Adam Dobres has spent 20 years touring the world with acts like The Wailin' Jennys and Toni Childs, including a run of shows at London's Royal Albert Hall opening for Mark Knopfler. Beside him is Victoria's 15-year-old Canadian Grand Masters fiddling champion and 2026 Canadian Folk Music Award recipient, Max Francis. He wrote, played, and produced every tune on his debut album, Home.
Max studied with Adam as a young student, so this pairing is a mentor and protégé meeting as equals on stage. Expect original compositions, traditional fiddle tunes, and the kind of spontaneous conversation between strings you will only hear in an intimate setting such as ours. This one will sell out quickly.
