Celebrated pianist and vocalist Louise has worked with many prominent artists, including Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. She's produced five albums and for five years hosted the syndicated TV show Let’s Sing Again. While she's made music with legends, equally inspiring for her is working with the community that has embraced her. Louise founded The Victoria Good News Choir and the Open Door Choir, and regularly performs in hospitals and care facilities. Louise's passion for working with youth is unending. She serves as artist-in-residence in middle and secondary schools throughout the Pacific Northwest and as facilitator and clinician at choral festivals. Louise has also taught in the summer jazz workshop at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and at music camps and schools across North America.
Admission is by advance reservation only - no tickets at the door. We're family-friendly and offer light meals, snacks and desserts, and a variety of hot and cold non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Doors open at 7pm and music at 7:30pm.
If you're unable to purchase a reservation for the number of guests in your party, please email us at info@empourium.ca and we'll do our best to reorganize our seating plan to accommodate you.
If you purchase a single ticket (Table for 1), we may ask that you share your table with another single ticket holder. If you would prefer NOT to, please let us know in the Order Notes when you purchase your reservation.
