Painting With Paper Workshop Wed. October 8

A four-hour, fun, friendly and creative workshop in making a work of art using paper, acrylic medium and mixed media such as gold, copper & silver leaf, found objects and more.

5:30pm - 9:30pm

Each participant will work from an image of their own choosing. This could be a painting you love, a pop-art, vintage or movie poster or an abstract image, or even a family photograph or a picture of your pet.

The evening includes a complimentary glass of wine, a small charcuterie/cheese plate and a few sweet bites as well as most of the required materials for the class. Additional drinks are available to purchase.

Participants will have a wonderful time and go home with a work of art they would be proud to display or gift. (Who knows, maybe we will even have a gallery showing of these amazing creations!)

Technical details:

Each participant will be asked to email a JPG of their chosen image in advance of the class. (Don't worry: if you need to, you can take a photo with your phone. It doesn't have to be complicated).

Most materials and tools will be supplied, but please bring:

* 6 glossy magazines

* A sense of fun, creativity and enthusiasm!
