Product Overview
A regular house band at Victoria's Irish Times Pub, Black Angus offers everything from foot-stomping folk songs to poignant lyrical poetry. Gareth Hurwood (vocals/guitar), Alex MacCuaig (bass/vocals) and Chris Van Sickle (piano) generate a camaraderie that's instantly communicated to audiences.
As a musical entity Black Angus is devoted to the authenticity of “good songs” that speak to their artistic hearts, and is near-impossible to pigeon-hole: traditional & contemporary Irish, acoustic roots, Americana, West Coast Celtic, blues, and old-time are all part of the Black Angus sound.
Admission is by advance reservation only - no tickets at the door. We're family-friendly and offer light meals, snacks and desserts, and a variety of hot and cold non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Doors open at 7pm and music at 7:30pm.
