Product Overview

The ten photographs included in this exhibition are a collection of coastal scenes from across mid-southern Vancouver Island. Locations include Victoria, French Breach Provincial Park, Tofino, and Rathtrevor Provincial Park.

Captured over the past two years, these photos were taken on Fujifilm digital and Mamiya film cameras. The abstract style used in four, generally referred to as intentional camera movement (or ICM for short), is an effect created in-camera. There are no photoshop manipulations here.

All photographs have been edited using Adobe Lightroom to enhance colors, brightness, contrast and details. Kauai matte fine art paper is used for all of the prints.

My family and I have happily been residents of Brentwood Bay since summer 2016. I started taking photos by studying film photography at the University of Fraser Valley back in 2008 and my primary photographic pursuits are abstract landscapes, details in nature, and portraiture.
